Cancellations Rescheduling & NO Shows
Credit card policy
If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can accommodate other clients and minimize the impact on our staff. If you need to cancel, reschedule, or modify your appointment we require a minimum of 48 hours notice from the scheduled time, otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total services originally booked will be charged to your credit card on file. To make any changes to your booking, please use your online Vagaro account. If you want to make changes over the phone, they will only be accepted during business hours Wednesday through Saturday. Important Note: If it is outside of salon hours, please email us your request to info@thecurrenthair.com as we are unable to respond to the phone calls, texts or voicemails.
We are committed to providing exceptional service to all of our valued clients while ensuring fairness for our dedicated stylists. To maintain this standard, we require a credit card on file in order to book an appointment.
Please be assured that your card is stored safely on our software and only charged in the event of a no-show or a late cancellation without sufficient notice. This ensures that our stylists' time is respected while also giving other clients an opportunity to book available appointments. We recognize that unforeseen situations happen, so we will evaluate each circumstance to determine if a fee is applicable.
We understand that it can be challenging to secure an appointment, therefore our goal is to make sure every client receives the exceptional service they deserve. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in supporting our efforts to serve you better.
Level 1 & 2 Service Limitations
We strive to provide exceptional service and ensure your satisfaction with every visit. As part of our commitment to transparency and quality, we want to inform you that our Level 1 & 2 stylists are in the process of refining their skills and gaining experience. While they are capable of performing a wide range of hair services, including haircuts and basic colouring, it's important to note that they may not have the same level of expertise as our Level 3 & 4 stylists.
If you are considering a dramatic change in a haircut or colour service, we highly recommend booking with a Level 3 or 4 stylist. They possess the advanced skills and experience necessary to achieve your desired look with precision and confidence. Additionally, please understand that Level 1 & 2 stylists are unable to undertake complex colour correction procedures at this time. If you require colour correction services, we kindly ask you to schedule an appointment with one of our senior stylists who can address your needs effectively.
We value your satisfaction and want to ensure that your expectations are met. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our stylist levels or the services provided, please do not hesitate to call or text us. We are more than happy to arrange a complimentary consultation to discuss your desired hair look and match you with the right stylist for your needs.
service revisions
At The Current, we strive to provide exceptional service to all our clients. However, our services are non-refundable. We understand that each client's satisfaction is of utmost importance, and in the event that you are dissatisfied with your service, we are committed to making it right.
Service Revision:
Should you find yourself unhappy with the outcome of your service, we kindly request that you inform us immediately. We value your feedback and welcome the opportunity to redo the service to your satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that you leave our salon feeling confident and beautiful.
Please note the following:
1. Requests for service revisions must be made within 7 days of the original appointment.
2. Service revisions are subject to appointment availability.
3. The revision service will be provided at no additional cost to you if you schedule with the original stylist. If you are requesting a revision with a different stylist, additional fees may apply.
Retail Exchanges
We are passionate about providing high quality retail products to suit your needs. We understand that finding the right product can be challenging. If a product does not meet your expectations, you can exchange it within two weeks, lightly used, for something more suitable. If you purchase a defective product, we can return or exchange the product. Our staff are always happy to assist you.
Clothing & Colour Transfer
If you have an appointment for a colouring service, please be aware that there may be a chance of colour transferring onto your clothing. While we take precautions to protect your garments, we cannot assure that they won't be affected. Please consider wearing clothing to your appointment that you're comfortable with potentially having permanent colour on. Alternatively, feel free to request one of our salon tee shirts from your stylist during your appointment.
Eco fee
Please note that all of our service appointments have an added eco fee of $1.50 per transaction to support our sustainability efforts within the salon.
Client privacy policy
We prioritize the confidentiality of our clients' information. Your personal details shared with us during appointments will be kept confidential and used only for providing our services at the salon. We have implemented measures to ensure your data remains secure and will not share it with third parties without your consent.
